Have used this unit for a week and it's working fine. Has a powerful shock. Remember to test it with your shoes off so you're properly grounded. Giving it four stars because the directions assume a basic understanding of electricity and could be better.

Our 7 pound mutt and our 70 pound weimaraner both received a shock from this on the first day it was plugged in. That's all it took to keep them out of an area where I've been trying to grow grass for two years. I haven't even had it plugged in for a month and they still won't go near the wires. Does what it's supposed to.
